Fremantle VS Brisbane Lions at Optus Stadium
Starving fans can breathe a sigh of relief because footy is officially back — and it’s here with a jam-packed menu. Kicking off at Optus Stadium on Sunday, March 17th, the Fremantle Dockers are set to open their season against the Brisbane Lions. With a beer in one hand and a bucket of chips in the other, there’s not much that’s better than watching the game unfurl in real life. Maybe it’s the vibrant lights or the rowdy roars of the crowd, but we can’t get enough. Buckle up because it’s going to be a big one!

Art with the Stars exhibition
The Art with the Stars exhibition showcases the creative artistry of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls across WA. Each piece offers insight into the unique perspectives, aspirations and stories, while also highlighting connection to culture, community and self. Sculpture by the Sea
Sculpture by the Sea will return to the sandy shores of Cottesloe Beach to celebrate its 20th anniversary from March 1st to 18th. The immensely popular and free event is expected to attract more than 250,000 local, interstate and international visitors. The exhibition will feature more than 70 works by renowned local and international artists from 15 countries.

Ocean Film Festival World Tour
The Ocean Film Festival World Tour documents the beauty and power of the deep blue, from both above and below the surface. The event will feature a series of films of varying lengths and styles, spotlighting ocean-related sports, the underwater environment, marine creatures, and oceanic adventure and exploration. Held at the State Theatre Centre of WA from March 20th to March 23rd, each film festival session runs for just over two hours.

Hyde Park Festival
For a fun-filled, family-friendly weekend activity, head down to Hyde Park Festival on March 3rd and 4th. Expect more than 250 stalls with arts and crafts, condiments, clothes, home décor, and more. Not to mention a talent show, bouncy castles, amusement rides, farm animals, yoga, live entertainment and a fashion show. In terms of food, there’ll be an array of trucks slinging tasty treats from around the world.

City Feast
Sip and savour your way through the incredible flavours of WA’s food and drink scene at Perth’s City Feast. Design talks, design exhibitions, design discussions, design gatherings; it’s a mammoth calendar of — you guessed it — design for Perth’s second annual Design Week.
