Perth weather is predicted to hit a record high with Wednesday set to be the hottest August day ever on record in Perth.
From recent snow in the southwest to near-perfect beach conditions, Perth and WA’s weather this winter has definitely provided us with a little bit of everything this year.
The previous record for the hottest day in Perth on record?
You would have to look all the way back to August 21, 1940 with a temperature of 27.8 degrees was reached.
Hottest August day forecast
Wednesday’s forecast for Perth is predicting a maximum of 28 degrees, which would see us just edge out the previous record and in turn making it the hottest August day on record.
Make the most of the nice sunny weather though with the rain to follow from Thursday onwards – with the lowest chance of rain being 90% on Saturday and Sunday.
So if you feel a sicky coming on… Wednesday might be the best day.
