Childish Gambino will light up Perth’s RAC Arena in 2025 with The New World Tour. The WA instalment is set for Tuesday, February 11th when eager fans will get a glimpse of the Grammy Award-winning artist in his first visit down under since 2019.
The New World Tour
The long-awaited Australia and New Zealand leg kicks off on January 28th, 2025 at Auckland’s Spark Arena, before continuing through Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and finally, Perth. It follows extensive North American, European, and United Kingdom dates.
Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter Amaarae has also been confirmed as the supporting act for Australia and New Zealand.
Alongside The New World Tour announcement, Gambino surprised fans with the release of Atavista — a reimagined version of his 2020 3.15.20 LP — with two new songs.
“This album is the finished version of ‘3.15.20,’ the album I put out four years ago. There’s a special vinyl coming soon with visuals for each song,” the rapper wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The new album features collaborations with Ariana Grande, 21 Savage, Ink, and Kadhja Bonet. Gambino also accompanied the album release with a video for “Little Foot Big Foot,” directed by Hiro Murai, featuring Young Nudy.
