Perth COVID-19 quarantine breach as woman escapes hotel quarantine.

Perth COVID-19 Report has been released with Police are on the hunt for an overseas traveller who has escaped from a Perth quarantine hotel.

It has been reported that 49-year-old Jenny Maree D’ubios has escaped hotel quarantine and was last seen walking on Adelaide Terrace in the city around 10:20am (December 26).

Jenny is deemed a risk as she has not yet completed her 14-days quarantine or COVID-19 testing requirements.

She is described as 155cm tall, fair skinned, of a medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black dress and carrying a case and a number of bags.

If you see Jenny, do not approach her, but contact police immediately on 131 444.

Today it was reported 5 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded, all international travellers returning to Perth.

The Department of Health has today reported five new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State’s total to 853.

The confirmed cases are all in hotel quarantine. Three cases are female and two male.

There are currently 12 active cases in WA and 832 people have recovered from the virus.

There have been 612,889 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 99,437 were from regional WA.
