Are you interested in finding new things to do and areas to explore on your weekends? Something to help you unwind and enjoy our beautiful city? Perth Hills Armadale is one of the most picturesque regions, with a mix of nature walks, botanical parks, and a stunning arts trail.
During springtime, it’s also home to Spring Into Armadale, an event series elevating the vibrant local arts and culture scene. There are more than 22 fun and exciting events happening this November, so there’s bound to be something for you.
To help you explore Perth Hills Armadale, we’re sharing some of our favourite events that are on this month.
Armadale Hills Arts Trail
Perth Hills Armadale comes alive with creativity and inspiration every spring — since 2015 — as the Armadale Hills Arts Trail opens its pathways to art lovers and casual explorers alike. This event runs from November 10 to 19, 2023, and transforms the region into a vibrant canvas where art meets nature.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore a series of open studios, where you can meet the artists, witness the creative process in real-time, and possibly even acquire a new original artwork to hang in your home. This year, there will be 30 stops on the arts trail making it the perfect day out to explore the works of some of WA’s best artists and sampling a few of the nearby cafes and eateries. Pop over to the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre to pick up the Armadale Hills Arts Trail before you start your journey.
HillsAlive Art Exhibition
Continuing on the theme of art exhibitions, HillsAlive is an annual exhibition held at St Christophers Anglican Church. Pop over to the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre to pick up the Armadale Hills Arts Trail before you start your journey.
The exhibition runs from November 9 to 11 with a gold coin donation to help support the running of the event each year.

Bush Breakfast And Guided Wildflower Walk

You’ll spend the morning reconnecting with nature as you walk through the bush learning about some of the beautiful wildflowers that are in bloom.
Booking are essential for this one as they need to cater for your breakfast. Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for children under 14.

Roleystone Theatre Presents Shakespeare in the Park
When you hear Shakespeare, most people naturally think of Romeo and Juliet or one of his many iconic lines. From “to be or not to be” and “parting is such sweet sorrow” to “all the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players”, Shakespeare has helped shape culture as we know it.
The latter quote is from As You Like It, the play that Roleystone Theatre will be presenting in this year’s Shakespeare in the Park. Set in one of WA’s most picturesque and beautiful botanical parks in Roleystone, Shakespeare in the Park has become something of an annual ‘must see’ production, now in its fourth season.
Book your tickets, pack your picnic basket, and get ready to enjoy a night laughter and fun.
When: November 5, 11, and 12, 2023.
