Playing host to banging coffee and good vibes, the bright and airy cafe has gained quite a following since opening and continues to be the ultimate crowd pleaser.

3. Dropinz Coffee

Mullaloo locals, get ready to meet your new favourite morning stop in for that necessary caffeine hit.

Dropinz is tucked away in the suburbs, serving up creamy brews that always seem to hit the spot. Created by three mates in 2019, it’s a super casual little hang with a leafy outdoor area and a takeaway menu of healthy breakfast eats. They’ve also just announced they’ll be expanding into a space as a traditional woodfired pizza and burger bar – watch this space!

4. Howards Groove

5. Grouch and Co

The pops of pink and cute yet grunge feel of Grouch and Co might just be one of our favourite hangouts around Myaree. 

They’re small-batch coffee roasters of the finest coffee beans from single growers around the world, and you can grab it on the go from the takeaway window or perch up in the warehouse space.

6. High Noon Saloon

We reckon these guys are major contenders for the best of the best, but we’ll let you be the judge.

The barista’s passion really shines through in the cups here as they exclusively serve up single origins from a rotating range of premium roasters. It’s a small but mighty space for your next brew, and they serve up piping hot toasties to go with.


7. Humblebee

A familiar name for those in the coffee world, Humblebee is an independently owned specialty coffee roaster with plenty of brews to choose from. 

There is a range of single origins available and house blends all with their own unique flavours, and you’re also able to get your beans in bags to take home so you’ll never be without. 


8. Lowdown

Lowdown has been consistently earning its rep for the best coffees in Perth over the years, and at a very cheap price. 

They serve single-origin beans from Perth roaster Fiori both hot and cold, plus a small menu of snacks and toasties at equally cheap prices for a speedy lunch or breakfast.

The food, the coffee, the location – Someday Coffee Co has the whole shebang. 

If you’ve got some time to spare you can take a seat and dig into some brunch or lunch eats alongside a cup of batch brew coffee, or just grab a takeaway cup that will be with you in a flash. It’s often on the busier side, which is a testament to the quality.

11. Harvest Espresso

Harvest does their own special blend of coffee beans that you can’t find elsewhere, and their menu of food is equally as exciting and filling. 

It’s got an industrial-inspired aesthetic, and if you don’t have time to stop they’re always brimming with croissants, muffins, and gluten-free treats to take with you. 


The incredible service is just as much of an experience as the brews here.

You’ll find Blink hole-in-the-wall espresso bar style in the quirky streets of Freo. The place is small but vibrant, and each cup they whip up sticks to strictly high standards. 


13. Hylin Cafe

Inspired by New York, Hylin is as visually pleasing as it is a top-notch coffee brewer. 

Their interior supports locals with locally sourced furniture and artworks and the beans are supplied by Micrology Coffee, an independent local roaster. What’s not to love?

Giving the feeling of a small bar, Bossman seriously are bossing up the coffee scene in Perth.

We adore North Street Store for their unbeatable cinny scrolls, and when we can grab one alongside a good cup of coffee it’s pretty much a no-brainer.

For your one-stop breakfast shop in Freo, Best Wishes is your guy.
