We love a cheeky cocktail, and the ones coming out of Bobèche might just be some of our all-time faves in Perth.

As one of Perth’s most iconic and charismatic cocktail bars, it’s no surprise that they’ll be celebrating their big double-digit birthday in boozy style with 10 epic cocktails all on one iconic menu for the month of August.

Each cocktail on the Greatest Hits menu is a ‘best cocktail’ from the past decade of the bar in countdown style. Think icons like the much-loved Bobèche Iced Tea and midnight must-have Breakfast Martini of 2015 to Hot Buttered Rum with fresh truffle (an ode to their infamous buttered popcorn from the early days).

Bobéche Greatest Hits Cocktail List

1. Old Fashioned

bobeche - old fashioned

George Dickel No.8 whiskey, house bitters blend, dark sugar, orange
There’s no moment more quintessentially Bobeche than being perched by the pewter bartop sipping an Old Fashioned, hence it claiming number one on their most ordered drink list.

2. Bobeche Iced Tea

Ciroc vodka, Tanqueray No.10 gin, Pampero rum, cherry and sweet spice tea
There’s always a section of teapot cocktails on the menu, but none have come close to the popularity of the Iced Tea.

3. Pineapple Daiquiri

bobeche - pineapple daiquiri

Chargrilled pineapple Pampero rum, lime, cold-pressed pineapple
The secret is fresh pineapple, chargrilled with just the right bittersweet caramelisation by the chefs at Heritage Wine Bar upstairs.

4. Fraise Sauvage aka Moulin Rouge

Tanqueray gin, house strawberry cordial, lemon, and Lansdown “It’s Not My Fault I Like Bubbles” sparkling
A colourful twist on the Parisian wartime classic, the French 75 which, so they say, packed “deadly
precision”.

5. Hot Buttered Rum with Fresh Truffle

Pampero Anjeo rum, nutmeg & truffled coconut butter
Regulars from the very early days will remember the old popcorn machine churning all night long, and this concoction pays homage with hot buttered rum flavours for the winter months.

6. Lady Marmalade aka Breakfast Martini

bobeche - lady marmalade

Aviation Gin, Barmalade, Cointreau, Lemon
A favourite for after the stroke of midnight, that has a knack of making any time of the morning feel
respectable.

7. Bobeche Gimlet ft. Grapefruit & Chamomile

Tanqueray No. Ten, House Grapefruit & Chamomile Cordial
Another smash hit from the ‘15 list in a bright twist on a 20’s classic but not too off-piste.

8. Absinthe Frappe

Green Fairy Absinthe, charred pineapple syrup
Based on a classic morning pick-me-up, popular in 1800s New Orleans.

9. Charlie Chaplin

Hayman’s Sloe Gin, apricot brandy & lime
This one’s only made it onto the list a handful of times over the last ten years, so now is your chance to snap one up.

10. East 8 Hold Up

bobeche - east 8 hold up

Ketel One vodka, Aperol, pineapple juice & passionfruit
A number borrowed from legendary bartender Kevin Armstrong of Milk & Honey
in London, quickly becoming one of our most popular new drinks of ’16.

Visit Bobèche (Basement, 131 St Georges Terrace, Perth) between August 2 and September 3 to experience the Greatest Hits menu.

Let the countdown begin.
