We wanted to know – where is the best pie in Perth?
When International Pi day rolled around, we decided to put the vote out to you, our readers, and ask a very important question- where is the best pie in Perth?
Well, now we’ve got quite a few bakery stops to make (not that we’re complaining).
Here they are, your picks for the best pie in Perth.
The Bakers Hill Pie Shop
Seems Bakers Hill is absolutely killing it on the pie front, since it was our most common answer from avid Perth pie-enthusiasts.
The family-owned business prides itself on unbeatable homemade pies with that perfect flaky crust, boasting a huge selection with everything from famous chunky steak pies to chicken pies, curry pies, egg and bacon pies, and vegetarian options. It’s worth mentioning they also do a killer vanilla slice for the sweet tooths.
The best pies in Perth? You’ll need to take a trip to find out.

Golden Bakery
If you haven’t already, add Golden Bakery to your list.
Considering they’ve won gold four years in a row at the Great Aussie Pie Competition and have snagged the best beef pie three times in the Perth Royal Food Awards, we think it’s pretty safe to say their pies are undoubtedly some of the best in Perth.
Maybe the secrets in their amazing filling, but whatever the case it’s a pie worth trying on your next lunch break.

The award-winning fussy pies are an all-around gourmet experience, with insides like tender chunky beef, smokey bacon, succulent slow-cooked lamb, special curry sauce, and old home-cooked flavours. We’re drooling just talking about it.

Miami Bakehouse
It’s WA’s most awarded bakery, and it’s a popular pie stop for many of our readers.
With multiple locations and a passion for all things pastry and local ingredients, Miami Bakehouse is a place that rarely needs an introduction. Given the fact they’ve got a long list of pie awards (including the legendary Garlic Prawn Pie) and surround their gourmet fillings with to-die-for pastry made by hand, it’s really a no-brainer their one of Perth’s best.

The now-famous chunky steak pie took out the dazzling prize thanks to chief pie masters Darren Rowe and Paul Pantaleo, who are the genius duo behind a bunch of mouthwatering, whacky creations over their time such as a BBQ Beef brisket with campfire beans, Bombay Curry chicken with spiced potato, and a Lasagna seafood pie created by teammate Larry Gill.

A hidden gem in Subi, this French bakery’s pies (and everything else for that matter) are simply magnifique.
We just need to get our hands on the pulled pork jalapeno or beef brisket pies, and considering it’s boasting 5-star reviews from happy customers all around there’s no doubt it’s an absolute crowd-pleaser.

Jaylea’s Patisserie
The award-winning patisserie in Willagee is one some of our readers just can’t go past when it comes to grabbing a pie on the run.
We reckon the secret is their ability to make some of the chunkiest pies around town, which is always a big factor in pie rating. They do it all from beef to steak to chicken to vego- the opportunities are endless.
