Varsity is iconic on the Perth scene when it comes to scrumptious burgers, brews, and sports bars, and now they’re trying their hand at something slightly new.
The Backyard at Varsity Morley is bootscootin into town today (Friday 2 September) as a sprawling Texan-inspired yard hangout between the car yards. Head down the side of the busy Morley venue and follow the smell of hissing meats and the sound of ice-cold brews clinking together to come upon your next chilled weekend destination.
Varisty’s food truck will be pulling up in the Backyard to sling out greasy options a-plenty, with a rotation of wild USA-inspired kitchen creations ranging from the tantalising zing of the north to hearty flavours of the deep south and enough BBQ style eats to make your head spin.
The menu will star items such as succulent Smoked Pork Ribs, Black Pepper Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Sloppy Mac n Cheese with toasted breadcrumbs, warm Corn on the cob with lashings of butter, Smoked Baked Beans, and BBQ Ranch Dirty Slaw – but not to worry, your OG Varsity faves will still be available for order.
Drinks-wise, you can wash down your feast with a fabulous frothy from beer experts Pirate Life to make for the perfect sundowner with the backdrop of smooth live music.
Word on the street is the Varsity League app will be dropping all the hot hot hot Backyard Food Truck details exclusively for members, so make sure to get yourself registered to be the first to know.
