As many Perth locals would agree, grabbing a coffee and some fresh fruit and veg at a local market  (often with a four-legged friend in tow) is one of the most wholesome ways to spend a Sunday morning.

If you’re looking to try somewhere new or want some inspiration on where to head for a dose of fresh produce this weekend, we’ve done the hard work for you — here are seven of Perth’s best Sunday markets to wander around.

If you’re taking a trip up to the hills on a Sunday, don’t miss the vibrant Kalamunda Farmers Market, which pops up in the Kalamunda Library carpark from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.

The market offers a massive range of produce, from fruit, veg, meat, and seafood to specialty products like macarons, goat’s milk soaps, marinades, and naturally fermented sourdough.

In summer months, the usual morning markets spill into special Friday evening night markets that weave through Kalamunda’s Central Mall. The night markets are a great spot to pick up handmade goods, food from trucks or local restaurants, and listen to local musicians. Check the Kalamunda Night Market website for season details.

Stirling Farmers Market

Stock up on plenty of fresh fruit and veg, baked goods, and even gourmet handmade pasta at Stirling Farmers Market each Sunday morning, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, located in the carpark of the City of Stirling Administration Building.

Stall highlights include Regans Ridge Olive Grove, selling premium olive oil sourced from the Shire of Gingin, Sweeter Bananas Co-Operative direct from Carnarvon, and Kojonup’s Perfect Poultry, who are known for their ‘churkeys’ (extra large free range chickens).

There’s plenty of shelter and seating, and it’s a fantastic market for kids thanks to its animal farm, face painting, and eco-friendly craft workshops specially designed for little ones.
