First, there was a pop-up floating cinema, now Perth will be getting giant monster creatures.
A new exhibition Monster Creature World will be making its first appearance in Perth, featuring the amazing behaviours and extreme characteristics of some of the earth’s most fascinating creatures – insects.
On the 15th to 24th January 2021 Perth will be taken over by various giant, moving, hissing, clicking insects and creatures from different parts of the world. Making the Claremont Showground exhibition feel like a Honey I Shrunk the Kids experience.
Experience the 6m Tarantula or a 6m Scorpion from head to tail.
But it not just all about giant insects.
The exhibition blends technology, science, artistry, and imagination to capture the most unusual aspects of the insect world.
Kids and families will experience a bug’s-eye view of their world, explore critter calls, amusement rides a bug train, and participate.
If the giants and entertainment aren’t enough, a variety of preserved and live reptiles and insects will be on view for close-up inspection with educators available to give short insect talks and answer questions.
