With only 3 active cases remaining in the state and all in hotel quarantine, Western Australia is edging closer to having 0 active cases in the state.
While Western Australia is celebrating it’s sixth day without a new case of COVID-19, Victoria recorded 331 new cases as well as a further 19th deaths.
Victoria has now recorded 38 COVID-19 deaths in the last 2 days.
Further east in Sydney, NSW is said to be on a ‘knife’s edge’ with a further 22 cases confirmed overnight – which is their highest daily total since April.
