Number one on Perth’s school holiday hit list will be Perth Zoo’s A-MAZE-ing Animal Wonderland!

You may not find a white rabbit to follow but you are sure to see many other animals as you search through the maze located on the main lawn near the playground, the sides blend into the greenery around the zoo but you can’t miss the pink flamingos and decks of cards on top. This area is a great spot to stop for a break from looking at animals around the Zoo.

Once you are small enough to get through the keyhole and enter the maze you will find yourself in the A-maze-ing Animal Wonderland. There is a lot to explore in the maze so take your time and look around.

Also Popular: Go Wild at Perth Zoo Birthday Parties

It might seem a little topsy turvy with tea parties set sideways, giant toadstools and signs trying to trick you with which way to turn.

During special character appearances, you might stumble upon story time in the maze. At the end you will be able to sit down and pretend to have your own tea party. If you are lucky the Mad Hatter may join you!

Located around the grass area are lots of giant games including flamingo croquet, feed the frog, super scales and more. Flamingo croquet is very popular so have a go at the other games while you wait for a mallet.
