Celebrate WA Day with a dazzling 500 drone light show.

On a day to celebrate all things WA, the state will see its biggest drone show ever lighting up the sky.

500 drones are taking off over the city to showcase the iconic stories and images of WA with a local playlist of tunes to back it up.

All you’ll need to do to catch this breathtaking show is head to Burswood Park on Monday, June 6th.

The free WA Day festival will be kicking off at midday, featuring some of the biggest local bands, over 60 food trucks, carnival rides, games for the little ones, indigenous storytelling with Wadjuk Dreaming, a Gage Roads Bar, silent disco, and the big grand finale – our 500 strong drone light show.

The show will take place from 6:45 pm – 7:15 pm in between performances from Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe, and Jebediah. If you’re out of Perth you can also catch the light show at Port Hedland for a community event on Saturday, June 11.

The McGowan Government has supported this WA Day festival with a $1.9 million contribution.
