West Coast Eagles VS Fremantle Dockers

In the 58th edition of the Western Derby, the West Coast Eagles are set to take on the Fremantle Dockers at Optus Stadium on Saturday, April 20th. With a beer in one hand and a bucket of chips in the other, there’s not much that’s better than watching the big game unfurl in real life. Maybe it’s the vibrant lights or the rowdy roars of the crowd, but we can’t get enough. Buckle up because it’s going to be a big one!

With its 130-kilometre stretch of coastline and 75 surf breaks, Margaret River is a destination celebrated as one of the world’s most consistent big wave destinations. Watch the big guns carve it up at the Margaret River Pro, which is back for 2024. The event hub will feature big screens showing replays, expert commentary, food trucks, and merchandise stands. Groms can also get up close and personal with their surfing idols who take time to chat, collect autographs and take selfies.

Sustainable Seafood Feast

The Cottesloe Beach Hotel’s annual Sustainable Seafood Feast is returning to celebrate sustainable Western Australian seafood. Expect an innovative set menu of fish, shellfish, molluscs, bycatch and more, served in the centre of the long table alongside free-flowing drinks from local wineries and breweries. Crab bibs and claw crackers are provided, so you’re encouraged to get your hands dirty. Ephemeral Oceanic celebrates the transient nature of life and the fragility of the world around us through the magic of bubbles. Inspired during the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s all about bringing people together in fleeting moments of connection and community through a playful shared experience.

Kings Park ANZAC Day Dawn Service 

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service will be held at the Kings Park State Memorial Precinct on Thursday, April 25th. The national day of remembrance marks the anniversary of the first major involvement of the Australian and New Zealand armed forces during World War One. The day now broadly commemorates all ANZAC forces “who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations”.

RIPTIDE Blues & Rock at Hotel Rottnest
