Later this year Vietnam’s dynamic Ho Chi Minh City and our wondrous home, Western Australia, will become directly linked to one another for the first time.
From the 21st of November 2023, Vietjet will launch two weekly return flights on a direct Perth-Ho Chi Minh City route.
Flights will depart Perth International Airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 11:20 pm (local time) and land at Ho Chi Minh City’s, Tan Son Nhat Airport, at 05:05 am local time.

Flights from Tan Son Nhat Airport to Perth International Airport will also depart on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 01:35 pm (local time) and arrive at Perth International Airport at 09:20 pm (local time).
Ho Chi Minh City
Simply known as Vietnam’s largest city and business hub, Ho Chi Minh is a city where influences of French and Japanese culture and architecture intertwine seamlessly. With a dark wartime history, there’s no shortage of museums that’ll take you back in time, alongside the colonial architecture, once built by French rulers, that can be found dotted throughout the bustling city.
Of course, Ho Chi Minh City also has a flavoursome food scene, with a range of street vendors, markets, and of course, an abundance of coffee shops (fun fact: Vietnam is the world’s second-largest producer of coffee).
Vietjet is celebrating its new direct flight by extending the airline’s weekly sales until the 31st of December 2023. The sales, which occur for 24 hours every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, will have offers available for Perth to Ho Chi Minh City flights, on a one-way, all-in fare from AU$200.
