Perth storm season has arrived – how to prepare for Stormageddon
Here are 10 things you should do/not do to prepare for a massive cold front about the slam Perth and the SW of Western Australia.
Update: A new storm is going to hit Perth, May 24th 2016 in the early morning hours – from 3am to 8am and will impact peak-hour traffic.
The storm is expected early Saturday Morning, May 21st. The BOM expects winds up to 120km/h and huge swells up to 8 meters – which is huge!
A warm Friday in Perth is going to lead to a miserable Saturday.
Surf Life Saving WA says don’t bother swimming or surfing, or your life will be in danger.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
Store or weigh down loose objects such as outdoor furniture.
Have an emergency kit with a battery operated radio, torch, spare batteries and first aid kit.
Ensure pets and animals are in a safe area.
Move vehicles under cover.
Boat owners should securely moor their boats.
Campers should find shelter away from trees, power lines, storm water drains and streams.
