Father wins the 2018 top prize for Sculpture by the Sea at Cottesloe. The $50,000 Rio Tinto Sculpture Award.

Winner of 2018 Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe ; Congratulations to Harrie Fasher the recipient of the $50,000 Rio Tinto Sculpture Award for her work ‘Transition’ at Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe. The sculpture depicts a horse from Icelandic mythology that travels in between worlds.
Construction of The Desert Island by Gjøde and Partnere Arkitekter from Aarhus in Denmark continues on Cottesloe beach. The Danish crew are getting a better sun tan with each passing day. Here is the start of the 75m trench with more of the mirrored panels

Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe is staged again at our iconic, beautiful Cott Beach.

73 artists from all over the world are busy preparing for the 2018 addition.

The exhibition is featured from the sea wall all the way along the sand towards North Cottesloe and on the surrounding grassed areas creating a beautiful sculpture park.
