Eagles pull off an amazing comeback after a scary start against North Melbourne

The Eagles started off a little shakey on Saturday night and were held to their lowest quarter time score EVER at home, managing just 2 points, trailing the Roo’s by 20 points after the first quarter siren.

The Kangaroos looked energetic and excited early and managed to hold the Eagles at bay… Momentarily… Two quick goals to from Coleman Medallist Josh Kennedy gave the Eagles the jolt they needed to get themselves into gear. After they settled, West Coast shut down the run that the Roo’s had early and made up for lost time on the scoreboard.

Coach Adam Simpson and his team will now be in preparation for the 2015 Grand Final against reigning Premiers Hawthorn.

I think West Coast have definitely proven themselves this year. They defied critics earlier in the season and have displayed incredible performances week after week and have been very strong.

Well done to West Coast on a great season. Win or lose on this weekend, they have done amazingly well in 2015.
