As a Fremantle Dockers supporter, I’M STILL BUZZING from last week’s win over the Bombers at Domain Stadium.

What an amazing game it was, and not just because the Dockers got their first win of the season…Well sure, that was a big part of it! I am so proud of the lads, I am also super proud of all of my fellow Freo supporters who were at the game and made the return of ex-Docker Ryan Crowley a night that he will never forget.

12 crowleyRyan Crowley has been a big part of the Fremantle Dockers club up until last year and he 100% deserved the cheers he received from the crowd when he got the ball during the game, and the heart-warming and emotional standing ovation as he unfortunately limped off the ground after pulling a hammy. My eyes started welling up at that point! (Don’t tell anyone) This is what footy is all about! The passion, the emotion, the love of the game and all of it’s aspects.

12 winThe Dockers travel to Brisbane this week for their clash with the Lions, and I am in a positive mindset about the game. If Freo can ride that momentum wave from last week right into this Saturday’s match, we may see a similar result!

Lachie Neale had a big week last week finishing on 42 disposals and a goal, and with the way he has been playing lately I can see him doing the same thing again on Saturday. Chris Mayne, Matty Pavlich and Michael Walters kicked 3 goals each last week and I think it will have boosted their confidence in front of goal, which was well and truly needed.

12 lachieFremantle Dockers will be looking to get consecutive wins, winning this one away from home will be a true test to see how far they have come. Connor Blakely got a rising star nomination last week and he has been consistently good this season, as has Lachie Weller. I was impressed with Sam Collins in defence last week as well as, I didn’t think I would ever say this… Matt Taberner! He definitely has shown signs of improvements the past few weeks, taking some strong marks.

12 tab n sonJonathon Griffin is out this week with a hamstring injury, Zac Clarke and Jack Hannath will come in to the side. Pavlich needs to get through fitness testing with concerns of a groin issue. If he does not play, Tanner Smith is the likely inclusion.

Brisbane’s Tom Rockliff got 48, FOURTY EIGHT, disposals last week and a goal in their loss against Carlton. The Fremantle Dockers are going to have to keep an eye on him this week to ensure that he doesn’t get too much of the ball through the midfield.

I am going to get behind the Dockers again this week! I am tipping Fremantle Dockers to beat Brisbane by 19 points.
