4:00pm – Perth Scorchers have won the toss and will bat first. The WACA is filling up fast, the temperature is a swealtering 34 degrees. Shaun Marsh and Michael Klinger to open for Perth.

4:14pm – Klinger hits two Four’s to finish the first over on 0/8

4:17pm – It’s the end of the second over and Perth Scorchers are 0/14

4:21pm – Three overs down and the Scorchers are 0/21 after a Four from Marsh

4:32pm – Six overs down and the Perth Scorchers are 0/41.

4:35pm – OUT! The Scorchers have lost Klinger to a catch by Michael Neser, he finished with 19 from 18 deliveries. Captain Adam Voges takes the pitch.

4:39pm – SIX! Marsh hits a whopper into the stands. Perth are 1/52

4:41pm – He does it again! Marsh with another huge Six! Great over from Marsh, two Six’s from three deliveries.

4:47pm – OUT! Marsh is gone! Caught right on the boundary by Jon Holland, dismissed for 47. Michael Carberry takes the pitch. Perth are now 2/70.

4:52pm – Ten overs down, Perth Scorchers are 2/71.

5:01pm – Another WICKET! Carberry bowled by Rashid and out for 5. Mitch Marsh takes the pitch.

5:06pm – WICKET! Marsh bowled by Rashid for 1. Willey takes the pitch and Scorchers are 4/94.

5:11pm – OUT! Not another one!? Willey caught on the boundary by Head. Scorchers need to come up with something here. Cameron Bancroft takes the pitch.

5:21pm – SIX! A big boundary by Voges. Two overs to go for the Scorchers, currently 5/130.

5:24pm – WICKET! Bancroft bowled by Ben Laughlin for 8. Nathan Coulter- Nile takes the pitch. Scorchers are 6/131.

5:28pm – Captain Voges is just short of a half century sitting on 44. Scorchers are heading into the last over at 6/134.

5:30pm – SIX! A massive hit from Coulter- Nile over the boundary, just what Perth needed!

5:32pm – And another SIX from Coulter-Nile! The 20th over is complete, Perth Scorchers finished on 6/151. Voges ended on 45* from 32 deliveries, Coulter-Nile on 16* from 7 deliveries.

5:49pm – Strikers come out to bat, Tim Ludeman and Craig Simmons are starting. Joel Paris opens the bowling for the Scorchers.

5:52pm – Strikers are away, 0/18 after the first over.

5:55pm – Coulter-Nile’s bowling is looking dangerous.

5:56pm – WICKET! The Strikers lose their first wicket, Simmons is gone for 1, bowled by Coulter-Nile and caught by Marsh. Good start for the Scorchers! Male Jayawardena take the pitch for the Strikers.

6:12pm – Mitch Marsh comes in to bowl for Perth, Strikers are 2/44.

6:14pm – Perth Captain Adam Voges shows some impressive fielding, Strikers are 2/48. Willey is back to bowl another over.

6:20pm – Scorchers legend Brad Hogg is set to bowl his first over, Strikers are 2/56.

6:23pm – Perth welcome Andrew Tye up to bowl, Travis Head smacks a Six into the crowd. Strikers are 2/67.

6:25pm – OUT! Travis Head is gone thanks to the successful bowling of Tye and a catch from Carberry. Strikers captain Brad Hodge takes the pitch to bat. Strikers are 3/67.

6:32pm – Coulter-Nile is back in the bowlers seat, Strikers are now 3/88 after a Four from hodge.

6:35pm – Great fielding on the boundary from Carberry to prevent a Four. Shade has almost covered the WACA, to the delight of the fans I’m sure!

6:37pm – 11 overs down and the Strikers are 3/92.

6:42pm – OUT! Remarkable catch from Perth’s Ashton Agar to dismiss Brad Hodge for 14. Strikers are now 4/99.

6:47pm – Alex Ross takes another Four for the Strikers, off a ball from Perth’s Brad Hogg.

6:51pm – Paris is back in the bowlers seat for Perth, Strikers are 4/113.

6:53pm – The temperature is slowly starting to drop at the WACA as the sun goes down, and the lights come on. Jayawardene hits another boundary for four runs for the Strikers with five overs to go.

6:56pm – Perth Scorchers need wickets here, Andrew Tye steps in to bowl another over.

6:58pm – Massive crowd turn out at #TheFurnace today with over 20,000 coming through the gates!

7:01pm – OUT! A much needed dismissal with a great catch from Perth’s Shaun Marsh, Jayawardene out for 42 off 40 deliveries.

7:03pm – Strikers need 20 runs from 18 balls to win.

7:07pm – Alex Ross hits a big Six, Strikers are 5/142. Perth need to come up with something! Strikers need 8 runs off 12 deliveries to win.

7:09pm – Joel Paris bowling beautifully for the Scorchers.

7:10pm – Alex Ross hits ANOTHER Six, Strikers need 2 runs off 9 balls.

7:11pm – OUT! Just when we thought it was all over, Alex Ross is caught out by Willey off a ball from Paris. Advil Rashid comes in to bat for the Strikers.

7:13pm – Andrew Tye bowling the final over for the Scorchers.

7:14pm – Strikers get their last run and win by 4 wickets.
