First, we need to understand that not all internet connections are the same! There are a handful of ways that you can be connected to the internet, but the most common are fixed-line services like the nbn™ and fixed wireless services like Pentanet Fixed Wireless.

Basically, traditional fixed wireless connections require an uninterrupted line of sight between a telecommunications tower and a connected premises (ie. your home). Going back to the freeway analogy, Pentanet Fixed Wireless is the helicopter that flies over the road traffic, escaping most of the congestion. Your packets of data basically ‘fly’ straight from a tower to a dish on your roof, completely independent from the nbn™. Congestion is still possible, just rarely to the same extent.
Okay, now we’re all experts on internet, freeways, and helicopters, how does Pentanet neXus fit in?
Pentanet neXus is essentially the next generation of fixed wireless internet. It removes the mentioned line of sight rule by using a unique mesh design. Pretty sure someone just yelled out, “what does that even mean?”
