This Spring The Raft, Perth’s newest special event venue floats onto The Swan River.
The Raft, Perth’s first permanent floating event space will drop anchor in the Swan River. And we all know everything is better when there’s a view of the water!
After four years of planning, approvals and builds – The Raft will be opening in September.
With the finest quality chef-catered event packages for private bookings, as well as playing host to several brand launch parties and ticketed music shows.

Who’s behind it?
What started out as an idea between two siblings is now transforming into Perth’s hottest new venue.
Power duo Katie and Dan Chrystal are combining their creative, finance and hospitality backgrounds to bring something fresh to the WA crowds.
Gabrielle Scott (Guildhall Event Space, Porch and Parlour) has overseen the interior design, adding her understated elegance and inherently cool signature to every aspect of the vessel, including the bespoke furniture, custom built by Remington Matters, the team behind some of Perth’s hottest
venues.

Where is it?
Overlooking Elizabeth Quay and Kings Park, The Raft Perth is a staggering 445 square meters and can hold up to 250 patrons, making it the perfect space for your next special event.
Travelling for three weeks from Darwin, The Raft has been docked up at Kailis Marine in Fremantle, undergoing all the essential preparations to transform an old working barge into the stunning venue set to permanently dock in the Swan River.
How do you get there?
To access The Raft, guests are transported on the venue’s private and very stylish 40 person tender vessel which departs from Barrack St Jetty, in the heart of Perth’s CBD and is available on request throughout any event.
