2. Drift Kitchen
Fitting right in with the chill coastal vibes, Drift is one of our fave local hangouts.
The food is fresh, the Leftfield coffee is soul-warming and the friendly atmosphere will make you want to stay awhile. If you haven’t tried Skol, the Scandi-style bar next door, then make sure you pop over sometime in the afternoon, or try Drift’s lunch menu collab with them.

3. Kinky Swell
Kinky Swell is a hidden gem on Brighton Road. Unassuming on the outside, once you step in and see the insane brunches popping out of the kitchen you’ll have no choice but to take a seat.
Get your hands on lamb rosti, buttermilk pancakes with salted caramel and mascarpone, french toast, bacon and egg rolls, and more. The coffee is also a custom blend with Crema Coffee Co, and totally de-lic-ious.

4. Toastface Grillah
I’m pretty sure Toastface Grillah needs no introduction.
Grillin’ up some of the best toasties in Perth, their Scarborough location inside Indian Ocean Hotel is no exception. They’ve got pretty much every filling you can dream up, from the humble ham and cheese to pulled pork shoulder. Top it off with some of their specialty coffee and you’ve got yourself the perfect post-dip feed.

5. Livid Skate Cafe
Triple threat Livid Skate Cafe serves as a cafe/skate shop/gallery for locals and beachgoers alike and is totally Scarborough vibes.
Watch out for their hole-in-the-wall style window down the laneway where you can get amazing coffee and amazing service from the chilled-out staff at all times- if you like Chai, I can confirm they do a damn good one.
