Perth Happenings Online Marketplace Launches
An online marketplace has launched on Perth Happenings website to help Perth and Western Australian small businesses through this uncertain time.
The marketplace was established by Pieta Sharpe to allow local businesses to connect with the community and their customers.

“We had 6000 customers visit the site on launch day, and it’s been really well received with a flood of local vendors signing up. The general response from businesses is that this is giving them hope,”
Local vendors are able to list as many products as they like across the categories of:

- Party and Gifts
- Local Services
- Pets
The services currently listed include; online courses, mechanics, local artisans, fashion, flowers, cakes, beauty products and even a local butcher!
“If you have to buy a birthday present, or need something for the home, we urge you to please browse, shop, support these local Perth businesses where you can still shop local without stepping out of the house,” says Pieta.
