Australians are been warned by ASD’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) to watch out for the following Coronavirus scam message that has recently been doing the rounds.
If you see the above message come through to your phone – officials have warned not to click the link.
As you can see above messages appears to be from ‘GOV’ as the sender and provide a message on how you can be tested for the Coronavirus COVID-19 in your area.
The link is not legitimate, and if clicked on, may cause the installation of malicious software on your device. Which is designed to steal your banking details.
If you’ve suffered financial loss from cybercrime, report it to ReportCyber at cyber.gov.au/report.
